1 The following groups of people are entitled to a reduced admission fee: people seeking employment, students, people with a disability, schoolchildren. Kindly note that you may be asked to provide proof of eligibility.
2 Family price: this applies to a family group consisting of maximum 2 adults and 2 children. Be reassured that we do our utmost to offer you the best pricing deals!

Equipment hire (charges are for half days):
You can visit the Nature Reserve unaccompanied by our staff by taking advantage of the audio guides that are available for hire at the Maison du Fier.
For you to gain maximum enjoyment from your visits to the Nature Reserve, the LPO team recommend hiring viewing equipment. You can also borrow the reference book Guide des Oiseaux de L’île de Ré (Guidebook on birds of the Ile de Ré) to help you identify the birds you observe.

a You will be asked for proof of ID for the hire of equipment (Identity Card, Passport, Driving licence). This will be retained by staff as a guarantee while you use the items hired. please note that the bird guide, is a French version, only the names of birds are translated.
b For the hire of long-distance scopes, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement at the Maison du Fier. You will need to provide proof of ID and a security deposit cheque in order to hire this item.
